I'm running in the San Diego Rock-n-Roll marathon on Sunday. I'm getting a bit nervous. Please pray for me :-).

I know that my mother hasn't posted in a while... and I'm very sorry that I haven't pestered her about it. However, she does have a valid excuse: she recently spent nearly a month in the Philippines with her mother.

Shortly after arriving back home, Mom decided to run a 5k just to get back on track for her next marathon. So, on April 1st, she arrived in Carlsbad bright and early and ready to run. Afterwards, Mumsie decided that 5k's are much more fun than marathons. They're quick and don't require as much endurance. Does that mean she'll be giving up marathons? Not by a long shot, but I think there's a new hobby in the works...

After 26.2 miles I couldn't help but have a smile on my face. Thank you for your support!
